My Bio
Retired USAF. After retirement I began work full time in the same career path. Was introduced to photography as a child when my dad (U.S. Coast Guard Photographer) developed film in a dark room at home. I have always had a passion for photography. The greatest part of that passion is being able to share it with others.

EPIC FAIL!!

Hello fellow photo enthusiasts!!!  I have experienced an epic fail over the last day or so and would appreciate your help. I have taken my Nikon AF-S Micro 60mm 1:2.8 lense out of the bag to attempt some awesome macro shots.  I bought this lense years ago, but have been extremely busy with no real time to dedicate. 1.  Problem One - It seemed no matter what I did the focal area I wanted was totally out of focus with another area being totally clear.  RESOLVED? - I changed camera settings to a single focal point in the center of the frame and it seems to have helped somewhat. 2.  Problem Two
